at Park Farm
GV II
Former threshing barn. Cl7. Timber-framed structure on brick plinth,
now concreted. Clad in weatherboarding. Half-hipped slate roof. 6
bays. Some gunstock jowled posts, some with cut profile. Staggered
midrail and curved tension braces. The end 2 bays appear to be earlier
then than the other 4, as they have a base of stone rubble rather than
brick. East end wall is C19 above mid rail. West end wall has 2 curved
braces and midrail but much of infill is later. Roof has staggered
purlins, angled queen posts and pegged rafters.
