II
Public road bridge over River Wharfe. C18, widened in C19. Coursed squared sandstone. Seven segmental arches: two principal spans over the river, plus two to the ramp at the south end, and three to the ramp at the north end. The two sides differ: the east side has simple recessed arches and triangular cutwaters, the west side has rusticated run-out voussoirs and round-nosed cutwaters; otherwise, both sides have rectangular intermediate piers and a canted central pier, all battered, and of vermiculated masonry; and cylindrical end piers with domed tops.
The asset was previously listed twice also under the parish of Leathley at List entry 1389121. This entry was removed from the List on 13 September 2018.
