Restaurant. C15 origin, C16 rebuild except east end, additional storey C18 and
other alterations. C20 restoration. Timber framed and plastered, brick nogging
infill to ground floor below jetty. Red plain tiled roof, hipped to South
Street and outshot to right. Moulded and dentilled eaves cornice. 3 storeys to
South Street, single storey right return. Jetty to left. 4 light casements
with transoms to left of first and second storeys, small paned vertically
sliding sash to right of first floor. 3 light shop window to ground floor
right, fascia and-moulded flat canopy. Exposed jetty beams and ground floor
frame below. 4 light left and 2 light right small windows, moulded mullions,
carved cills, taller central 5 light mullion with moulded pilasters. Door to
right with moulded jambs, head and frieze, moulded end pilasters, the 5
pilasters supporting arched jetty brackets. Plinth. Step approach to door.
