1866. Formerly Lockwood Town Hall. Ashlar. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys.
Moulded eaves cornice, with stone brackets. Moulded cornice over ground floor.
continuous moulded 1st floor sill band and impost band. Ground floor rusticated.
Moulded plinth. 6 ranges of round-arched sashes, those on 1st floor with sunk
panelled aprons, moulded voussoirs and keystones. Central 2 bays break forward
slightly and have pediment with cartouche inscribed "Town 1866 Hall," and sculpted
foliage in tympanum. North Street elevation has 2 bays with same treatment
and 1-storey extension, rusticated, with moulded eaves cornice.
