Kemberton House

G.V. II

House. Early to mid C18 with later additions and alterations. Red
brick on sandstone plinth over cellar, brick floor bands, projecting
eaves with coved plastered cornice , plain tiled roof, 2 tall, slightly
projecting, tapering end stacks. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic; 5 bays,
windows all C19 side hung casements with segmental heads; recessed central
entrance under round headed doorway with benches on either side, 6
panel door with wreathed radiating fanlight. Formerly known as Poplars
Farmhouse.
