House, medieval. Flint, clunch and stone dressings early build, flint and stone C20 build, red pantiled roof. 2 storeys with attics. 2 window build to east and east gable incorporate remains of domestic build of C14 of Carmelite Friary (q.v.). 2 window build to west is second half of C20. North front early build survives to first floor window level, limestone east end quoins and kneeler marking height of original build, with brick heightening courses above. 2 ground and 2 first floor 2-light C20 casement windows. C20 build incorporates re-used C14 door embrasure and moulded arch, with one ground and 2 first floor C20 casements. Steeply pitched roof with 2 dormers. East gable of early build has massive north-east angle buttress of cut stone with 2 set offs, 2 first floor stone fire windows with central mullion. C18 brick gable above with 2 windows and tumbling, C20 ground floor lean-to addition. South front of early build, with east end cut stone quoins and kneeler, west end brick quoins, now straight joint. Clunch to level of kneeler at east, brick infill at west. South-east corner has spiral staircase in situ. Blocked re-used C14 door arch attached at south-east.
