Gate piers, wall, gates and gate stones, c,1770. Ashlar and
wrought iron. Rusticated and coped wall, set on a plinth, having
central double wrought iron gates with decorative wrought iron
overthrow and central bell over. The overthrow rests upon the
wall. Flanking these gates are single, damaged, rusticated
piers, protruding from and rising above the wall. These have a
frieze decorated with paterae and a dentil cornice. Either side
are single rusticated arches supported on imposts with a single
wrought iron gate under and at the outer edges single rusticated
piers terminating at the level of the wall. To the west and east
of each of the larger piers is a single ashlar gate stone.
