Gv II

Southill Estate block of cottages, comprising 3 dwellings. Early C19
reworking of an earlier building. Timber framed construction with
colourwashed roughcast render to exterior. Clay tile roofs with bands of
fishscale tiles to central block. One storey and attics gabled cross-wing to
LH, central block and RH cross-wing also one storey and attics but slightly
taller. Ground floor has 6 windows in variety of sizes, attic has 3 windows,
one to each gable and central gabled dormer. All have cast iron lattice
casements. 3 plank doors under gabled open porches. All gables have pierced
decorative bargeboards. Variety of red brick stacks, all with brick
mouldings.
