TL 90 SW STEEPLE MALDON ROAD

House. C16/C17 of possibly earlier origin. Timber framed and rough rendered.
Red plain tiled roof, hipped to right. Chimney stack now truncated below ridge.
2 storeys. 3 window range of C20 casements, central gabled porch. Single
storey rear range of later date. Stop chamfered bridging joist. One re-used
tie beam originally with arched braces with 9 pegs. Pegged side purlin roof.
