House. C15/C16 with C18 and later additions and alterations. Timber framed and
plastered, weatherboarded wings at rear. Of several builds. Red plain tiled
roofs that to left half hipped, with rear red brick chimney stack, square
attached shaft to right wing. 2 storeys. Parapet to left wing. 2:1 window
range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, mainly tripartite. Bow window
to ground floor of left range. C20 door to left, moulded surround, flat canopy
on brackets. The original building with heavy timber frame, stop chamfered
bridging joists, halved arched bracing to angles, square mullions to blocked
windows. 4 panelled door with original hinges. C18 vertically boarded doors
with strap hinges. Rebuilt red brick fireplace.
