adjacent outbuildings

House and farmbuildings. Early C18; main part of house rebuilt and west range
extended in early C19. Brick in English Garden Wall bond 1 and 5, with cut
sandstone lintels; Welsh slate roofs.

House in 2 sections. Left part 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. C20 half-glazed
door and 12-pane sash windows, all in old openings. Banded end stacks. Returns
show outlines of lower gables of earlier building. C18 right part 2 low storeys,
2 bays; boarded door with small 6-pane sash over and 12-pane sash to right.
All sashes renewed. Tall banded right end stack. Range to left shows blocked
slit vents and various doors and windows with tooled-and-margined lintels.
Left end has short southward return with gabled end.

Right return of house shows 2 small blocked lst-floor windows with soldier
lintels. To right contemporary north-east range: 2 storeys, 3 bays; 2 boarded
and 1 stable doors, 4-pane casement above left door.

Rear elevation of west range shows opening for driveshaft, and roof weathering,
of former gingang. All gables show raised tumbled-in coping.

Later ranges flanking covered yard on south of west range are not of special
interest.
