Farmhouse. Dated 1663. Limewashed brick with slate roof. Lobby entrance
plan. 2 storeys in 3 bays. Central stepped porch with flat string course
and datestone : PELHAM 1663. Porch gable head rests on kneelers. Casement
window over porch. One casement window right and left of porch on each floor
with shutters, all of C20 although original skewback arches still visible.
Gabled roof on kneelers. Ridge stack over door. Flat brick string courses
at first floor and eaves line on south gable wall continues through rear until
interrupted by 2 storey mid C19 brick extension. Against north gable wall
a single storey farm building now converted to residential use. Interior
retains winder staircase by stack at attic level only. Principal ground floor
rooms with wave moulded spine beams. Roof of through purlins and collars.
Rafters mostly renewed.
