Parish church. 1886. Following the demolition of the old church in 1861, and its
replacement at High Cross in 1862, a new church was built on the original (Saxon)
site in 1886. Single cell, with north porch, C20 south vestry, of simple Early
English style. Plain tile roof, with slender western bell turret. Walls of rough
flint rubble, with stone dressings; stepped buttresses, plinth, lancets (triple at
the east end, coupled below a cinquefoil at the west). The plain stone-faced
interior has wall monuments from the old church, of 1628, 1768, mid C18, 1854 and
1909.
