Earlier C18 cottage, altered early C19. 2 storeys. 1 window range with extension
to south incorporating older building fronting onto South Street. Hipped Welsh
slate roof with red brick stack. Roughcast limestone rubble with timber-framed,
jettied 1st floor with moulded bressumer. Extension with limewashed brick walls
with weatherboarded 1st floor. Coved cornice. 3 and 4 light, C19 and modern
casement windows. Old boarded door at north end with wrought iron hinges.
C17 boarded door to South Street with wrought iron pegs and hinges. Interior
with C18 panelled cupboards, sections of muntin and plank partitions, ceiling
beams and newel staircase.
