Formerly the Old Rectory, built on the Bite of a cl6 house of circa 1550 and probably
incorporates some of the old structure. It was altered in 1801 by Brooksby and
was renovated in 1973. it is recorded that this house was 1st in the village
to take out the casements and use the "new sash". The present house has an early
C19 red brick frontage, 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, double-hung sashes
with glazing bars, 3-light windows in the outer ranges, set in shallow semi-circular
headed recesses. Originally there was a central doorways new replaced by a window.
Roof slate, hipped with 1 flat headed dormer on each front.
