House. Circa 1833-38 with later additions and alterations. Rendered
brick or stone; low-pitched hipped slate roof with belvedere; rendered
ridge and integral side stacks. Square plan. 2 storeys with continuous
first-floor cill band; 3-window front, 4-paned sashes to first floor
and 6-paned sashes to ground floor, all with louvred shutters. Central
entrance; 6-panel double doors with rectangular overlight under plain
Roman Ionic portico. Right return is similar with open-pedimented break
to centre. Interior: inspection not possible at time of resurvey (March
1986) but right ground-floor room noted as having original fireplace
with keystone in shape of a female head and pilasters in the form of
inverted consoles.
