A Cl8 red brick front to an earlier timber-framed building, with a wing extending
to the north at the east end. Altered in the C19 and C20. 2 storeys. 5 window
range (1 blocked), double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars, in flush
cased frames. The lst storey windows have louvred shutters. the ground storey
has a C20 canted bay at the west end and 1 C20 casement window. There are C20
doorways in period style, with cornice hoods, on brackets. Roof tiled, hipped,
with a large square chimney stack at the east end (C18).
The cock Inn with No 1 and Nos 2 to 14 (even) Mill Road and Bear Inn, The Square
form a group.
