Water. mill and stable. Early C19. Coursed and squared rubble
and brick with asbestos cement roofs. Single storey plus loft, 3
unequal bays. L-plan. East side has to left, 3 breathers. To
right, wall with doorway, enclosing water wheel. Inside the
wall, altered doorway and small opening. Above, small central
gabled brick dormer, South gable has door to right and above,
central door. Adjoining stable to west has to south to left,
casement and stable door. To their right, 2 cart openings with
square pier. To right again, door flanked by single casements,
all with keystoned heads. Interior has a pair of millstones on a
staging. The water wheel has been adapted to drive an electric
generator.
