Earlier-mid C18 cottage and slaughterhouse, altered early C19. Mentioned in 1750
deed as "Dwellinghouse, slaughterhouse, linhay, stables and outhouses". The linhay
(combined cattle shelter with haystore over) and outbuildings were converted into
cottages circa 1880 (see Nos 3-5 Leechwell Lane). 3 storeys. 2 windows. Hipped
Welsh slate roof. Rendered front. Recessed sash windows and Yorkshire sashes with
exposed boxing and glazing bars. Recessed doorway with narrow fanlight and panelled
door.
