Public house. Dated 1882. Yellow and red brick with painted
dressings, slate roof. 3 storeys and dormered mansard. Corner
site with passageway to Curzon Street. 3 windows to south and 4 to
west. Plain painted public house fronts to ground floor under
entablature. Recessed sashes under segmental. arches to upper
floors. Canted corner with panel containing relief of bunch of
grapes and date. Crowning entablature with dentil cornice.
Victorian rebuild,part of Edward Shepherd'sc. 1746 development
of the market.
