Barn, Circa late C17 with later outshuts. Timber frame clad in
corrugated iron sheets and weatherboarding. Corrugated iron sheet roof
with gabled ends. 3-bay barn, the central threshing bay has midstrey
on NE front and full-height cart entrance on rear (SW). Later outshuts
built on front and at SE end. Large gabled midstrey at centre of NE
front with outshut on left. Full-height sliding doors at centre of
rear (SW). Large lean-to outshut on SE end and lower range added to
NW end. Interior: Cut jowled posts; curved braces to tie-beams, queen-
struts supporting clasped purlins (1 tier clasped at junction of
struts and diminished principals), common rafter couples complete and
without ridgepiece, curved wind-braces; mid-rail and close-studding
complete and tension braces. Original midstrey.
