A C17 timber-framed and plastered house, built on an L shaped plan with a wing
projecting to the south 2 storeys. The windows are iron casements with leaded lights.
Roof tiled, with an original chimney stack with grouped saw toothed shafts, on a
square base. A C19 brick addition extends on the west end.
Street Farmhouse, Manor Cottage, Crabbe House and Brookhouse Farmhouse, Brooklyn House
and Plumbers Arms Public House in the Parish of Denston form a group.
