Early C19. The corner block with No 2 Winchester Street has a plain 2-storeyed
design, of 2.2.3 upper windows, the central recessed section being rounded at the
corner. Slate roof with low parapet and cornice. Painted brick walling, rubbed flat
arches, first floor band, stone cills. Sashes. The rounded corner has on the
ground-floor a symmetrical shop front, with cornice, frieze, pilasters, to central
doorway. The Winchester Street facade has a round-headed window (former doorway)
retaining a decorative fanlight within the arch; the Bridge Street front has a modern
shopfront.
