A C16-C17 red brick building with black brick diapering in headers with later alterations and additions. The upper part is weatherboarded on the north and east sides. Roof tiled, with a coved plaster eaves cornice on the south side.
The Church of St Andrew, Sandon Place and Outbuildings at Sandon Place with The Forge, Post Office and Cottage east of Post Office, Woodhill Road and The Crown Inn, Sahdon Green form a group.
