A good C18 red brick front with a parapet (rebuilt) and a wood modillion
cornice. 2 storeys and basement. 7 window range, double-hung sashes with
glazing bars, in plain reveals. The north end, of one window range, sets
back slightly above the ground storey and is plastered. A stucco band runs
between the storeys. A central doorway with panelled reveals has a good
Ionic doorcase with plain columns, frieze and a modillion pediment. At the
rear there is a later brick facade with a 2 storey bay. Roof tiled, hipped.

Nos 13 to 21 (odd) form a group with Ipswich Arts Theatre and Church of
St Mary-le-Tower.
