No 177 is a projecting mid-C18 front attached to No 179 which runs behind. 2 storeys,
3 windows. Stock brick with newly rendered parapet. Gauged flat brick arches
to replaced sash windows. Late C19 projecting shop front. Nos 179 and 181 are
an early-mid C18 pair similar to Nos 171 and 173 but with alterations. Each 3 storeys,
3 windows. Hipped roof renewed in corrugated iron. Brown brick with red brick
dressings. 2nd floor band. Narrow recesses of window-like appearance in 1st floor
centre. Stone-coped parapet. No 179 has had front rendered and windows modernised.
No 181 has gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash windows. Modern shops on
ground floor.

Nos 169 to 185 (odd) form a group.
