Early-mid C19 pair, each 2 storeys and full height basement, 1 window, of greater
depth than others in street. Stucco with low pitched hipped slate roofs. Banded
rusticated ground floors and basements forming voussoirs to windows"with vermiculate
key blocks. Ionic pilasters rest on 1st floor band and rise to eaves. 1st floor
sash windows with glazing bars in moulded architraves. Ground floor long casements
with margin lights have console bracketed cornices and ornamental cast iron balconies.
Entrances on returns up long flights of steps.

Nos 37 to 63 (odd) form a group.
