1890. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings. Banded facade and slate
roof. Short crenellated south corner tower with tall hipped roof as spire. 3 storeys
with bands between. Foundation plaque below ground floor window. 1 mullioned window
ground and 1st floors. South facade has similar top floor window with arched plaque
on 1st floor. North part of western facade gabled with large crenellated oriel
with mullions and transom. Carved panel below. Trefoil vent above. Small side
windows ground floor and door with Tudor arch and 2 light mullioned window above.
South side facade has centre double gable and domed cupola rises from ridge of
roof.
All the listed buildings in Burton Street form a group of which Nos 24 to 36 (even)
are of local interest.
