Circa 1850. 3 dwellings end of terrace. Hammer dressed stone with ashlar
dressings. Quoins. Pitched slate roof. Gable copings to west turn onto
built up moulded footstones. 2 large central stacks with moulded caps. 2
storeys, with basement and attic. North elevation: Gabled central wing breaks
forward and comprises, entrance to right (No 24), with quoins, Tudor arch,
chamfered reveals and hood mould over, and to left, 4-light chamfered and
deeply recessed stone mullioned window with hood mould over. Lights have
rounded heads. 2 single chamfered lights to 1st floor. Nos 20 and 24 are to each
side of central wing and are handed. Each consists of 2 bays, the outer bay
set back with doorway with Tudor arch quoins and chamfered reveals with small
single light over (chamfered). Inner bay of 3-light chamfered stone mullioned
windows. Ground floorlights with rounded heads. (No 20). Mullions removed
and modern casements to No 24 (both floors). South elevataion: Each dwelling
is of 2 bays with entrance of 2-light window to basement level of single light
and 2-light window to ground floor. At 1st floor level roof is extended and
each dwelling has gabled dormer with 2-light window. All opening's are chamfered.
Single storey lean-to extension of same date to west gate.
