The main house No 27 - C18. 3 storey. Vitreous brick with red dressings
and narrow angle pilasters whole height, Moulded strings at 1st and 2nd
floor levels. Moulded and dentilled wood cornice, broken forward over
pilasters which have moulded caps and section of architrave and frieze
under cornice. Parapet with angle blocks and stone coping. Old tile roof.
3-bay front. Outer windows 3 light on upper floors, segmental-headed, and
with panelled frames with corner roundels and panelled tympana. False
central windows (upper floors) with curved heads and fluted pilasters
at sides. All windows have moulded stone cills. 2 large windows, 4
panes wide, on ground floor with panelled shutters, and 6-Panel central
door in boxed doorcase with narrow fluted Composite pilasters and entablature
with frieze enriched with fruit and musical instruments, and bracketted
cornice. Brass lion knocker.

(No 25 has been demolished and replaced by a modern building of 2 storeys
and attic in brick, which is not included in the listing).

Nos 27 to 35 (odd) and Nos 37 to 51 (odd) form a group.
