Formerly called Court Lodge. The main part of the building is late C17 or early
C18. Two storeys and attic. Nine windows. Three dormers. Red vitreous brick
with rubbed brick window dressings. Cemented pilasters flank the centre window
bay and each pair of the remaining windows. Cemented stringcourse, cornice and
keystones to windows. Brick parapet. Segemental-headed windows of 8 panes with
glazing bars intact. The dormers have pediments, the centre one curved, the
others triangular. Hipped tiled roof. Large centre porch added in C19. There
is a C19 addition on the ground floor only at the east end and at the west end a
late C18 or early C19 addition of 2 storeys and 5 windows in red brick with the
end window bays projecting. Panelling inside and staircase of 1730.
