Originally the town workhouse, now a guest house. Timber-framed building erected
about 1500 with a C17 chimney stack. The timbering is exposed in the East wall
with plaster infilling. the North front-is red brick on the ground floor and
tile hung above. The East front of the South wing is of stone rubble and the
South front of stone rubble on the ground floor only and tile-hung above. Tiled
roof. Casement windows. Two storeys and attic. Three windows and one dormer.
