Farmhouse. Early to mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond with hipped roof of slate. 2 storeys.
3-window range to entrance front; returns of 1- and 2- window ranges; rear elevation of 3-
window range. Bilaterally symmetrical about round-arched entrance with overlight; narrow
window with 6 x 6 sashes of original design above. Entrance range projects; brick pilaster strips
at outer corners. Outer ranges have camber-arched windows with 8 x 8 sashes of the original
design. Right return with similar window to ground floor, left with similar window to ground
and first floor near corner with entrance front. Storey band. Pair of stacks to either side of roof
hip. Rear elevation with camber-arched windows, 6 x 6 sashes of original design; entrance on
axis with that to main front. Interior: stair with balusters and rail of original design. Front
elevation, with its shallow hipped roof and projecting eaves has the elegant proportions of the
Regency period.
