House. C17. Timber-frame with plaster and brick infill, and plaster rendering.
Old tiled roof with renewed brick ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window
range. C20 glazed door has fanlight above, and is within C19 Doric porch with
entablature. C19 plank door to right. Windows to ground and first storeys are
C19 casements of 2 and 3 lights. Main range has 2 hipped dormers to roof, with
leaded-casements. Attic window to gable of crosswing is C19 two-light casement.
Crosswing oversails at first and attic storeys. Square panel framing of first
storey is exposed, with some decorative bracing. Plinth is rendered, and C19
barge board to main range is carved. Two C19 rainwater heads to centre.
Crosswing extends to rear, with large brick stack behind. C18 brick extension
alongside. Interior: noted as having some beams with moulded chamfers and ogee
stops and C18 staircase in lobby with 3 turned balusters per tread.
