Probably timber framed originally but now clad in brick. End wall of reef wing
now rebuilt. Facade in 2 parts. North end C18 red brick with grey headers, timber
eaves plate and brick plinth. Old tiled roof with hipped gable end. 2 storeys.
1 window, C19, 3-light casements. Southern part red brick with lower plinth.
2 storeys. 2 windows, C19 casements (1 of ground floor windows has modern glazing).
Centre door below large axial chimney stack. This part of facade appears to be
later but south end wall has blocked window with mullions. Roof carried low at
rear. South end has hipped gable and garage doors to ground floor. This forms
the front facade of a C19 red brick range of cowsheds with loft above which adjoins
the farmhouse at rear. South facade has 4 doors, 6 windows and 2 loft doors.
Furze Hall Farmhouse (including the range of cowsheds to the rear) forms a group
with the barn (and outbuilding adjoining the barn to the west) at Furze Hill Farm.
