House. Now two dwellings. Early C17 or earlier with later alterations and
additions including early C19 brick facade. Timber framed, painted brick
facade, dentilled eaves cornice. Weatherboarded returns. Single storey
plastered extension to right. Red plain tiled roofs. Two red brick chimney
stacks, that to left external, that to right original with four octagonal
shafts. Two storeys. Two window range of small paned vertically sliding
sashes, one similar window to right extension. Central, recessed, four panelled
two light door, moulded pilasters with capitals and bases, open pediment. Half
glazed door to right return, flat canopy on moulded brackets. RCHM 19.
