House and bakehouse. C15, altered C16/C17, extended C19. Timber
framed and clad with red brick, with tile hanging to return elevations.
Four bay hall house in origin. One storey and attic on ragstone
footings, extended by 2 storeys. Hipped roof with gablets, with 2
hipped dormers and large stack cluster to left and projecting and
offset stack to right. Three wooden casements on ground floor and 1
to left on 1st floor of gabled extension. Boarded doors to centre
left and to right. Catslide outshot to rear. Sans purlin roof with
smoke blackening. Large inglenooks/fitted cupboards. Newel stair
with enriched newels. Bake house to rear, single storey with hipped
roof and central stack and attached store rooms. (See Traditional
