GV II*
Dovecote. Medieval. Random rubble. Round and tapering with domed top, forming
beehive shape, c.20 ft. high. Stepped-in slightly in 4 stages with projecting
stones forming continuous ledges at each stage. Low doorway on east side and
3 small windows on south side. Formerly had an entry for the pigeons on top
of the dome.
Interior is entirely lined with stone nesting boxes.
Scheduled Ancient Monument.
