4/77 Old Maltings at
Westholme House

G.V. II

Former maltings, now workshop and store. C19. Red brick in
Flemish bond, with painted ashlar dressings. Hipped pantile
roof. Dentillated eaves. 2 storey originally with cellar, 4 bay
front, with recessed semi-circular arches to ground floor, with
impost and key blocks. Off-centre double planked doors with
overlight. To left a single, to right a pair of glazing bar
lights. To first floor 2 similar windows, all with flat ashlar
lintels and keystones. To left of first floor 2 late C19 4 light
workshop windows. Under the eaves 2 Diocletian ventilators, with
keystones. Interior has contemporary floors, ogee headed lamp
recesses, and a fireplace and flue for the maltings.
