Farmhouse with adjoining byres, now a garage, and lofts. Dated 1606 on lintel.
Grey rubble with ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roof with stone gable coping.
L-plan. 2 low storeys; 6-bay house, one-bay byre. At right of fourth bay a
C20 door in chamfered surround, with broach stops, lintel inscribed C E 1606,
and irregular-block jambs. 3-light stone-mullioned windows, that at right end
on ground floor inserted, have glazing bars, chamfered surrounds and label
moulds. Single blocked light on first floor in right end bay.
Byre, now garage, at left has wide concrete lintel over vehicle doors; first-
floor boarded door at right in plain stone surround; 2 vent slits at left.
Roof has left gable coping on moulded kneelers; 3 square ridge chimneys to
house. Left return has rear wing of 2 storeys, 3 bays, with 3 ground-floor
windows; plain stone surrounds to outer windows and to first-floor boarded loft
door.
