ST 77 SE ST. CATHERINE'S

2/175 Brook Cottage

- II

Farmhouse. Mid - late C17, altered C19. Rubble and double Roman tiled roof
with coped raised verges and restored ashlar stacks. Single storey and attics
in 2 steep gables to south and one to north. North-east elevation: two
2-light casement windows in reserved chamfered mullions and surrounds and under a
dripmould. Central plankdoor. 2 storey and single bay wing projects at left.
South-west elevation: three 2- and 3-light casement windows on ground floor
(some C20), in chamfered mullions and surrounds; two 2-light casements in attics;
single storey and single bay extension to left.
