Farmhouse. Early C18. Painted brick; plain tile roof; brick external
lateral stacks to rear and internal end stack. Aligned parallel to the
road, facing west. 2 storeys and attic; 3 windows, casements with segmental
heads and leaded panes, C19 bracketed bow window to ground floor left, gabled
attic dormer to the right. Central gabled porch of circa 1840 with 'Tudor'
arch openings in the front and sides. 2-storey single-bay wing attached to
the right, with casements and a blocked segmental headed door. Lean-to dairy
extension to the left. The most prominent feature to the rear, which faces
the road is the pair of massive lateral chimney stacks which flank the back
door. Interior. Winder staircase directly in front of the door; chamfered
and stopped cross beams; cheese press in the dairy.
