Row of 5 single cell cottages. Late C18. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate
roof. 3 storeys. Double pile cottages have paired doorways (except one) with
monolithic jambs sharing a wider central jamb and thin flat faced mullioned
window with overlapping lintels and sills of 4 lights to each floor. Those to
ground floor lack mullions. 3 stacks to ridge. Similar fenestration to the
rear. Originally 10 cottages back-to-back now through-houses. The top attic
floor was originally one open room formerly used for textile manufacture.
