6/17 Elemore Grange Barn

Barn, possibly for the storage of timber. Late C18 or early C19. Dressed sandstone,
brick arches and moderately-pitched Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan. 1 + 3 + 1
bays. 2-storey left bay has 4-panel door, square window above has projecting sill.
Central 3-bay section runs through 2 storeys and is open to front and rear; 3
elliptical arches of brick are carried on 2 square stone piers and end walls. Right
bay has square first-floor opening with projecting sill. One-bay right return has
C20 vehicle entrance. 3 original king-post trusses support hipped roof with plain
close eaves.
