Main fronts face south-west with backs facing on to Church Lane. Late
C18 to early C19. 3-storeys. Nos 30 and 32 with slightly lower frontage
and lower roof; pebble-dashed. No 42 also with some vitreous brick headers.
(No 36 has been re-fronted). Square windows on 2nd floor, 2 light casements
or sash windows. On 1st and ground floor, sash windows 4 panes wide in
brick reveals with brick voussoirs (in Nos 34, 38, 40 and 42). 2 light
casement windows in Nos 30, 32 and 36. Windows on all floors on north-west
side of No 42 have modern louvred shtutters. Doorways grouped in pairs
except for No 42 which has its entrance on north-west side. Nos 30 and
32 have doorways with panelled pilasters; frieze with raised diamond shaped
panels at ends over pilasters. Doors in reveals. Next 2 pairs of doorways
(to Nos 34 and 36, and to Nos 38 and 40 respectively) have plain pilasters
at sides and in centre, with common frieze with narrow moulded string and
small moulded flat hoods over. 6 flush panelled doors with upper panels
cut away and glazed (modern glazed door to No 36). No 42 has a modern door
with 6 fielded panels on north-west side; flat-headed doorway. Modern single
storey addition, also pebble-dashed, to left hand on this side; one sash
window with shutter.
