Lodge. Late C19. Brick with sandstone dressings and Welsh slate roofs. 2 storeys,
3 windows. L-shaped with projecting gabled bay to right. Ground floor has 2-light
windows set in pointed arches with hoodmoulds. Wooden frame porch in re-entrant
angle is supported on mid-wall brackets. C20 glazed door. First floor windows
include a half dormer and are of 2 lights with round-arched heads. Dentilled eaves
cornice. Stone-coped gables with iron finials. Projecting external stacks to right
return and rear. Enclosed rear yard has buttressed brick wall with chamfered stone
coping. Included for group value.
