1849 by James Park Harrison. Rubble with freestone dressings. Large 5 bay
church in Decorated style with nave and aisles (Catslide to north, pitched
roof to south). PLain west tower with clasping buttresses and broach spire.
Gabled north-east vestry added 1909 H C M Hirst. Gabled porch to south. Foil
headed wndows mostly coupled to north, sub-divided lancets with 2 ogee lights
and foiled oculus to south.
Two bay slightly lower chancel with priest's door. Three-light east window
with 3 foiled oculi to tracery. Interior: arcades have hexagonal (not octagonal)
columns. Scissor brace roof to chancel. Two wind lobbies (to north and south
entrances) with chamfer panels and cresting and decorative strap hinges. For
