Former Game Keeper's Cottage. c. 1800, extended mid C19. Rubble-built with pantile
roof, end chimneys; some use of zinc-slag blocks for quoins; bricks cambered head to
openings. 2 storeys, 2 windows, and 16-pane sashes on ground floor, wide-margined
glazing on 1st floor, exposed boxes. Central 6 panel door.
Interior: ground floor left hand room (to East) retains early arrangement with settle,
dresser and fire-place with meat curving chamber. Upper floors low-ceilinged.
Included partly for interior and sociological interest.
