House: core C16/C17 with C18 alterations and C20 half-dormers and
porch. Rendered sandstone rubble, with black-painted stone dressings.
Graded Kerridge stone-slate roof with a stone ridge and a brick and
stone chimney. 1½ storey, symmetrical 3-bay front. 3-light
square-section stone mullions with iron small-pane casements have C20
gabled half-dormers with wooden casements above. Central bay has open
stone C20 porch with ball finials and a C20 studded, framed and
boarded door in a stone rebate. Small 2-light square-section mullion
window above with small-pane, iron casements.
C20 porch carries inscription M1547E which may suggest original date.
