Farmhouse, C16 with major alterations of C17 and C19. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and pebble-dashed on east side, encased in C19 red brick (now painted) on west. Mainly concrete plaintiles, some faces with old clay plaintiles. A C16/C17 axial chimney of red brick and another of C20. C19 and C20 small-pane casements. C20 half-glazed panelled entrance doors in gable end. The house has a late C16 core with plain exposed framing, and a large open fireplace with cambered lintel in the hall. Extensions in C17/C18 enlarged the parlour at the south end, and gave extra service rooms at the north. A parlour block was added early C19, of red brick with hipped plaintiled roof.
